Description
The Unite TV Streamer 2 will send the sound from your TV directly to your ReSound hearing aid/s.
It is compatible with all ReSound wireless hearing aids (if
unsure, please check with your audiologist).
With the TV Streamer you don’t have to choose between your
favourite TV show and taking part in a conversation. You get a
balanced experience, with sound from the TV streamed directly to
your hearing aid/s while you’re still switched on to what’s going
on around you.
Watch TV and still take part in the conversation
The TV streamer sends you strong and clear sounds from the TV, but
it doesn’t overpower or cut sounds from the microphone on your
hearing aid/s. You can also connect the TV Streamer to other
electronic devices through a range of plug options.
Don’t disturb others while watching your favourite
show
Having the TV volume turned up high may help you hear it, but it
can often be a source of frustration for those around you. Just
like ordinary wireless headphones, the TV Streamer will let you
enjoy your favourite shows without your family having to listen as
well!
Easy connection, and automatic reconnection
The robust wireless connection is not only easy to set-up, it
automatically reconnects if you, for example, leave the room to get
a snack. If you re-enter the TV streamer’s seven metre range within
five minutes, it will start streaming again without you needing to
do anything. Have a newer digital TV or an elderly analogue model?
It doesn’t matter – the TV Streamer 2 is compatible with all TV
models.

Before you can use any of the ReSound wireless accessories, they need to be paired to your hearing aid/s. This is a simple process and can be done by the user.
You can pair up to three streaming devices with your hearing
aid/s (of an combination - ie. 3 Mini Microphones or 1 Mini
Microphone, 1 Remote Control and 1 Phone Clip).
TV Streamer vs Multi Mic
It is possible to connect the ReSound Unite Multi Mic to the TV
and use this as a streamer instead of purchasing the dedicated TV
Streamer. This works well but one of the main advantages of using
the TV streamer is that it can be left in one place, connected to
the TV, so it’s always ready to go and saves hassle. It will
also reconnect automatically if you leave the room and return
within 5 minutes.
As well as this, the TV streamer pairs automatically once it's set
up the first time and (probably the most important thing) is that
it transmits a stereo signal whereas the Mini Mic sends only a mono
signal. The Multi Mic can be used if the person doesn't mind
disconnecting and reconnecting it with their TV.

Please note- For the ReSound One Rechargeable hearing aid,
where the pairing instructions say "Open and close the battery
drawer", please instead put your hearing aids into their charger
and remove them from the charger to put them in pairing
mode.

Received as a Christmas gift and since then have found it to make a great difference for me and all the family as they no longer have to have the volume up so I can hear it. It is a great help with very good sound quality reducing my need to stain to hear the TV.
