Description
The Geemarc CL1100 sound quality and volume is very similar to the CL100. This phone is favoured by those who do not want or need large buttons and has the added extra feature of an outgoing volume control for people with quiet voices.
The Geemarc CL1100 amplified telephone is designed to help those with a high frequency hearing loss, a problem affecting up to 95% of hearing impaired people. Those with high-frequency hearing loss can't hear sounds like st and ch, so words like stair and chair sound like air. Just increasing the volume doesn't always help because it amplifies all frequencies.
The Geemarc CL1100 telephone features a built-in sound equalizer that selectively increases the volume of high or low frequency sounds. This equaliser should help those with a high-frequency hearing loss. Wall mountable. This phone has an inductive T coil in the handset and is compatible with all hearing aids with a loop program (also known as a 'T' or telecoil facility) - as with all our amplified corded telephones.
In our view the Geemarc CL100 (or CL1100) has a sharp sound and good level of amplification and induction T coupler.

Ordered Sun evening -delivered Tues Morning. Brilliant! Superb 'phone - does what it says on the box. I have moderate deafness and can now hearcallers,on the 'phone, with the volume setting only at halfway. Highly recommnded. Thank you Connevans.

I bought the 'phone to try and help my wife who has severe hearing loss (-55dB)following chemotherapy and boy did it do the job! She actually finds it better to use it without her hearing aid and just amplify the sound. The ring tones are easily audible to her and the flashing light also helps her. The instructions are easily followed and quickly help you get the 'phone set-up the way you want it.
