Phonak hearing aid wax filters and wind & weather protectors
Hearing aid wax and microphone wind & weather protectors should be replaced on a regular basis. Don't wait until they look blocked, that's already too late as the performance and sound quality of your hearing aid will already have been degraded. Exactly how often will vary from user to user, some people with 'waxy' ears will need to replace a wax filter monthly. Likewise for hearing aids with replaceable microphone filters, if the user works in a dusty environment they may need to be replaced monthly, certainly every 3 or 4 months.
