Description

Cochlear Baha test rod that can be attached to a Baha sound processor for testing or demonstration by a TOD or Educational Audiologist.

Please note this is only compatible with BAHAs from Cochlear, not from Oticon Medical.

How to use:

Option 1: Snap the sound processor onto a test rod and turn the volume up. Hold the rod between your index and middle fingers and press it against the skull bone behind your ear. Use your little finger to cover the ear canal and listen.

Option 2: Snap the sound processor onto a test rod, hold the test rod between your fingers, turn the volume up and speak gently into the microphone. If you can feel the vibrations in the rod it is working properly.

Note: the test rod is not hygienic for shared use. The quality of the sound you hear can be a bit hit-and-miss. For regular testing by a professional, we would recommend a Baha/Ponto Listener.
