A Combi package featuring a corded telephone with answerphone as well as a cordless handset, perfect for multi user households.
The AmpliDECT 295 combi allows you to have both a corded phone and cordless handset placed within your home, making is easier for you to enjoy telephone calls in any part of the house. With hearing aid compatibility these phones are great for anybody with a hearing loss.
The corded phone has large, easy to press buttons that are helpful for anybody that may have limited dexterity. The cordless phone also has easy to press buttons and the handset is streamlined so it fits nicely in your hand for comfortable phone conversations.
There is also an answering machine with 15 minutes of call time, which means you never have to miss an important message again. This can be also turned off if needed and there is a large, clear back-lit display screen that allows you to view the date, time and number of messages.
The answering machine has two modes: normal recording mode and simple mode, which will play a pre-recorded outgoing message but will not allow a caller to leave a message - particularly handy if you prefer to use email or text as you can record a message asking them to use an alternative contact method.
The AmpliDECT 295 combi has an amplified receiving volume of upto 30dB and you can also benefit from the speaker phone option which means you can talk to the recipient at the end of the line, hands free! The corded model has 4 one-touch memory buttons, 3 of which are picture memory buttons, allowing you to add images and program numbers of loved ones and friends.
The corded phone has an inductive T coil in the handset and is compatible with all hearing aids with a telecoil facility (as with all our amplified corded telephones). The cordless handset has a T coil and most hearing aid users will find the level of background noise acceptable when using the DECT telephone handset directly with 'T' with their hearing aid - it is simply a matter of trial and personal preference.
In the opinion or our evaluation panel, the Geemarc AmpliDECT 295 Combi is great for a multi-user household as the corded phone offers big, clear buttons while the cordless handset has a more conventional, modern look. The picture memory buttons are particularly good for young children or those who struggle to remember numbers. T his is a well designed phone with a good sound quality. It does not have a tone control, which means that although it has a good level of amplification, the bass/treble cannot be adjusted to suit your particular hearing loss. Having said that, it is excellent value for money, particularly considering the answerphone facility which is useful for many people.
Up to 4 additional cordless handsets can be added for use with this Combi set. These can be any combination of standard AmpliDECT 295 handsets or PhotoDECT 295 handsets, which simply have 4 photo dial buttons - making them great for people with dementia or memory loss.
