Zephyr is the junior member of the Dry & Store family!

Zephyr operates on an 8-hour cycle, and utilizes warm, moving air and a Dry-Brik II desiccant - proven technology for maximum drying effectiveness. A ball-bearing fan continuously circulates warm, dry air for the entire operating cycle, causing moisture to move out of the hearing instruments by diffusion. Zephyr by Dry & Store® does not include the germicidal cycle that its larger siblings share, but it does have the same renowned drying and deodorizing benefit.

Zephyr is a drying box for all types of hearing instruments - traditional hearing aids as well as cochlear implant equipment, noise maskers, ear monitors, and more. Best results are achieved with in-home use every night. While you sleep, it removes damaging moisture accumulation, dries earwax, and deodorizes your hearing instruments.

Regular use can actually help to reduce repairs - manufacturers report that perhaps half of the hearing aids they receive for repair are malfunctioning due to moisture or earwax. Other benefits are reduced instances of fuzzy or distorted sound and prolonged battery life.

The compact size and light weight of the Zephyr, make it easily portable and ideal for household use.

The biggest single difference between the new Zephyr and it's original 'big brother' the Dry & Store, is that the Zephyr does not include the germicidal UV lamp which is an integral part of the Dry & Store.

Supplied complete with 1 Dry-Brik II tablet and UK 230V ac 50Hz power supply adaptor with 1m lead.

Dry-Brik II tablet: 76 x 41 x 15mm should last about 2 months.

If you have ever experienced fuzzy or distorted sound, weakness, static, intermittency, short battery life, or even all-out failure of your hearing aids, and you've confirmed that the batteries are good, there's a good chance that the culprit is either moisture or earwax. In fact, manufacturers report that as many as one-half of the aids they receive for repair are malfunctioning due to moisture or earwax. The Zephyr can save you the time, expense, and aggravation of those preventable repairs.

Operating Features:

Ball bearing fan continuously circulates warm, dry air for the entire operating cycle, causing moisture to move out of the hearing instruments by diffusion. A desiccant in the airflow path strips the moisture out of the air, ensuring continuous dry operation.
The Zephyr turns off automatically after 8 hours, unless the ON/OFF button on the side is pressed
Batteries do not have to be removed from hearing devices.

Operating Conditions:

Zephyr operates at a temperature range of 97° to 104° F (36° to 40° C). It will function properly at indoor ambient temperatures from 65° to 80° F (18° to 27° C).
Zephyr is not recommended for use in high-humidity locations such as a bathroom.
Note - Zephyr is not designed to diagnose, prevent, monitor, treat or alleviate disease.

Desiccant

A disposable Dry-Brik II which must be replaced every two months, is included with each Zephyr (Replacements can be purchased in a triple pack - MDRYSTREPT)

The Zephyr Drying Box (metal box,a dry Brick tablet,fan, heating coil and mains supply) is the best accessory I have bought and, without it, my expensive aids would be ruined by now. It dries them in a couple of hours, never overheats and turns itself off. Take it on holiday; it is so good, I bought a spare so my expensive Phonaks are as good as new and I am here to share my enthusiasm. Thank you, Connevans. Go on, try one!
