The Amplicomms TV 2500 is a wireless TV listener
which hangs down from the ears and is suitable for those who do NOT
wear hearing aids.
A particularly useful feature of the TV 2500 is that the
receiver includes a built-in microphone. When you wish to hear
family and friends you simply press the large button on the front
of the receiver to activate the microphone, and the sound from the
TV will be muted. Press the button again and you can return to
listening to the TV.
In the opinion of our evaluation panel, the TV2500 is excellent
value for money. The sound quality is very good and the addition of
the personal listener makes it unique. A recommended

What will the TV 2500 listener do for me?
The TV 2500 Listener is used to help you listen more clearly
to your TV, radio etc. without any trailing leads across the floor.
It allows you to enjoy your TV etc at your own volume without
disturbing others.
How does the TV 2500 listener work?
The TV 2500 Listener consists of two parts, a mains powered
transmitter and a receiver powered by a rechargeable battery. The
transmitter picks up the sound from your TV and sends it via radio
waves to the headset receiver.
What is the difference between the TV 2400 and the new TV
2500?
The TV 2500 Listener has the additional option of a digital
optical input socket (Toslink) for use with newer TVs, many of
which don't have a SCART socket.

If more than one person wants to benefit from the TV
listener then you can register another receiver to the
transmitter
Your TV 2xxx-1 / TV 2xxxNL-1 is an additional receiver for your
TV 2400/ TV 2500 / TV 2410NL / TV 2510NL. After having inserted and
charged the battery you will have to register it to the
transmitter. There is no limit number of receivers to be registered
to the TV 2400 / TV 2500 / TV 2410NL / TV 2510NL transmitter for
use together. For more information about the operation and hints on
safety and disposal, please refer to the manual of your TV 2400 /
TV 2500 / TV 2410NL / TV 2510NL.
Please note: You need to spend a bit of time and
have some patience in order to set up a new receiver to your
transmitter base unit
Registering a new receiver
- Turn off the transmitter if it is on (disconnect from the
mains).
- Disconnect the audio source input.
- Turn on the NEW headset, the LED indicator will be flashing
on and off slowly.
- Press the MIC button and hold for 3s, the green LED indicator
will flash on and off quickly.
- Turn on the transmitter immediately (must be done within 9s,
or need to redo step 4).
- If the registration is successful, you will hear a short
confirmation tone in
- the headset and the green light on the headset will
automatically stop flashing and will light constantly. This
indicates that registration was successful.
- Reconnect the audio source input
